Project Overview :
In response to the urgent need for eco-conscious consumer choices, this Green Cart project aims to revolutionize the way people shop. This sustainable shopping app is designed to empower users of all ages to make environmentally-friendly decisions by providing information on eco-friendly products, alternatives to single-use items and rewarding users for their sustainable choices.
Target Audience :
Eco-conscious consumers who span across all age groups, reflecting a diverse community of individuals committed to making a positive impact on the environment.
Challenge Statement :
The challenge is to design an intuitive app that serves as a comprehensive guide for sustainable shopping. This includes implementing features such as a sustainability rating system for products, a barcode scanner for instant information, fostering a community of like minded people and a rewarding mechanism that acknowledges and incentivizes eco-friendly purchases.
My Role & Responsibilities :
I worked on this project as a solo UI/UX designer from inception to completion.
User Research ( Interviews, Survey, Personas, User Journey Maps), Wireframes, Usability study, Prototyping, Testing, Accessibility and Iterating on designs
